Pearl was born to William Riley Crow and Sally (Pruitt) Crow. She attended Flat Rock School in Arkansas. She married Zack Ailey in Shawnee July 1932 and was a homemaker. She was Baptist and a member of a home demonstration club. She had lived in the Shawnee area since 1931. Preceding her in death were parents; her husband; a grandson, Howard Ailey; seven brothers, and three sisters.
