George Bergstrom, 43, died Friday at Tuality Community Hospital.
Mass if the resurrection will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Donald Happe officiating Rosary will be said tonight at 8:15 in Sunset Chapel of Donelson, Sewell & Mathews Mortuary Interment will be in the Fir Lawn Cemetery.
Mr, Bergstrom was born August 12, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Mr and Mrs George Bergstrom He was married to Mary Leib there on August 23, 1957, and they moved to Hillsboro three years ago.
He was a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church and Teamsters Local 81 Long Haul Truck Drivers and had been employed at Cobb Rock Co. until his illness.
Survivors include his wife Mary and children George, Timothy, and Judi at the family home in Hillsboro, mother Mrs. Martha Silbernagel of Hillsboro, father George Bergstrom of Minneapolis, sisters, Mrs. Donald Virgina Boje and Mrs Donald Rose Ann Volk of Hillsboro, and Mrs Jerry Carol Morton of Newport, half sisters Katherine Ramey and Christine Minor and Marlene Clark of Anacortes and Mrs Leona Goodfellow of Mt. Vernon, Wash. and half brothers Russell of Anacortes and Kenneth of Minneapolis, and step brother Frank Thomason of Anacortes and step sister Lenore Thomason of Washington, and step mother Gertrude Thomas of Washington.
