Anthony died Wednesday evening at the home of his son, Jesse E. Bagby of 3 Hills Court. He will be buried tomorrow afternoon with funeral services from the home, at 3:30 pm. Dr. M. L. Wood, pastor of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, two sons, John W. Bagby of Cincinnati, Jesse E. Bagby of Huntington, a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Flaherty of Huntington, and two sister, Mrs. Hiram C. Gordon of Huntington, and Mrs. Edwin Murphy of Portsmouth, Ohio. He was 72.
