Alamo Defender. He came to Texas as a volunteer during the Texas Revolution, joined Captain Thomas F. L. Parrott's company at Bexar on November 26, 1835 and took part in the siege of Bexar. During the reorganization of the Texan forces he became a Captain in command of the the volunteers accompanying James Bowie to the Alamo on January 19, 1836. He died in the battle of the Alamo.  (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
