Abelardo Anzaldua, 35, of Galveston and formerly of Brownsville, died Thursday at a Galveston Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Anzaldua of Galveston; his mother, Mrs. Herlinda C. Anzaldua of Brownsville; two sons, Abelardo Jr. and Steven; and five daughters, Rosa Maria, Linda Ann, Sylvia Ann, Jo Ann, and Laura Jean, all of Galveston.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Joe Gonzalez of Galveston and Mrs. Juan Sandoval of Brownsville and 12 nephews and nieces.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at the family's residence at 1805 E. Polk. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church from the family's residence with burial in the City Cemetery under the direction of Garza Funeral Home.
