Born Sunday, June 28, 1953 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he worked at Tremont, Crown Zellerbach, Manville and Riverwood International for more than 23 years until his early retirement due to decline in health.
Mr. Guynes was preceded in death by his Father, Jerry Philip Guynes and infant sisters, Rose Marie and Sandra Gayle Guynes. He often said his life would have been different had his sisters lived.
Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife of 43 years, Becky Guynes, Winnfield; Mother, Lennie Guynes, Winnfield; Daughter, Sharee Poisso and husband Kevin, Winnfield; Son, Glynn Guynes and spouse Ilich Ramirez, Katy, TX; Grandchildren, Jessie Morgan, JoJo Morgan and Jamie Poisso; Sister, Teresa Martin and husband Bert, Hamburg, AR; Niece, April Martin, Hamburg, AR.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 03 at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Sunday, January 04 from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 04, 2015 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Ingles officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery, in Williana.
