(Jones) Alderson. On Oct. 13, 1936 James
married Mildred Inez Johnson at Elk
Point, S.D. James and Mildred moved to
Chicago, where he was employed as a
sales executive. In 1949 they returned to
Alta, where James was engaged in farming
until the time of his death.
He is survived by one son, James Guy
Alderson III and his wife, Shu Mai of
Elgin, Ill.; one daughter, Adeline Gard
and her husband, William of Dubuque;
four grandchildren, Dan and Sandy
Alderson, James IV and Salva Alderson,
Steven and Rossana Alderson and Nell
Alderson; and four great-grandchildren,
Robin, James V, Stephanie and Ashley.
James was preceded in death by his
wife; his parents; and one great-grandson,
Danny Alderson.
