SAVANNAH - Stephen "Stevie" L. Barnes, Jr., 32, died Monday October 5, 2009. Stevie was a lifelong resident of the Savannah area; he attended Chatham County Public Schools and was a 1995 graduate of Robert W. Groves High School. He was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church and a loyal Georgia Bulldogs fan. He was an Underground Pipe Foreman and had worked for Malphrus Construction and Terry Lee Construction. His daughter Skyler Ryann Barnes preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Amy Love Barnes; a daughter, Selena Love Barnes; mother, Linda Myers Barnes ; father, Stephen "Steve" L. Barnes, Sr. (Sheila); brother, Travis Barnes (Mandy); sister, Camie Joyner (Stephen); step sisters, Jessie Fennell, Amber Turner, Leighann Woods (Shannon); father and mother-in-law, Frank and Barbara Love; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, other family and many friends. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at the funeral home chapel. Burial: Hillcrest West Cemetery.
