Death came to Mrs. Irene Charter, widow of the late Coleman J. Mrs. Charter was born in Towners on February 13, 1874, the daughter of the late Orlando and Eliza Smith. She was educated in the Towners school and came to Brewster as a young woman and her marriage to Coleman J. Charter took place here. Mr. Charter passed away in May, 1944.
