She was a member of a pioneer Hale County family, but had lived in Tuscaloosa 40 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ada Chapman of Greensboro and Mrs. Pat Sartain of Coker; five sons, Joseph W. Allen of Northport, and Chalres R. Allen, Tom Allen, Ed Allen and Ray Allen of Tuscaloosa, a siter, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Greensboro; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
