Meleea Clark Polston Meleea Clark Polston passed from this earth November 10, 2004, after a courageous battle. Meleea lived her life with grace and joy in Garland and Austin, Texas. A graduate of Crockett High School Class of 1981, she had a brief career in banking. When she became a mother, she devoted herself to caring for her own children and many others with her own Day Care. Meleea was a devoted supporter of all her children's activities including dance, cheerleading, Manchaca Optimist Pony League baseball and Crockett High School baseball. She took pride in every step of her children's lives. Meleea said, "I am not ready to give up my boxing gloves!" She was an inspiration to us all. A friend to everyone she met. An "irresistible force" of vitality and enthusiasm - this world's best wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend left a special legacy of strength and love to her family and friends. Meleea was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Clark, step-father, Walter Voges, and father-in-law, Buddy Polston, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband Buddy Polston, Jr.; children, Trey, Ross, and Keli; mother, Jean Voges; father, Berkley Clark; step-mother, Nell Clark; mother-in-law, Lillie Polston; four brothers; five sisters; and a large extended family. Meleea believed there was no such thing as steps and in-laws - family was family. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2004, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A Celebration of Meleea's Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2004, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Mickey McCandless and Reverend Mark Weaver officiating. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
