The former Anna Albrecht was born on July 14, 1890 in the Town of Halsey the daughter of Mr and Mrs Adam Albrecht. On January 11, 1913 in Athens she was married to Wenzel Andris. he died on May 19, 1960. She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include two sons, Martin of Reading, PA and Arthur of Brookfield, along with two daughters Mrs Ben Artman of Route 3 Athens and Miss Mary Andris also of Route 3 Athens. She is further survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday January 22, 1979 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Athens. The Rev. Stephen Gross officiated and burial took place at Calvary Cemetery. A visitation was held and a rosary was conducted by the The Parish Council of Catholic Women on Sunday evening at the Gillis and Son Funeral Home in Athens.
