RICHMOND, Ind. – Robert D. “Bobby” Ach, age 90, of Richmond, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Reid Hospital. Bobby was born on July 4, 1924, in Richmond and was a life-long resident of this area. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Bobby was a former member of the American Legion Harry Ray Post #65. He was the owner and operator of Bob’s Antenna Service and Sales for over 25 years. Bobby enjoyed working in his yard, cutting wood, and riding his scooter. He loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Barbara J. Kinsey Ach; son, Mark (Linda) Ach of Richmond; two grandchildren, Jada (Jeff) Ach of South Carolina and Clint (Kimberly) Ach of Lynn, Indiana; nieces, Vicky Fleischman of Florida and Joanne Shank of Hawaii; nephew, Jim (Lois) Dudas of Centerville; brother-in-law, Joe Schurbrock of Centerville; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bill, Alexander, Joe, and Andy Dudas. Visitation for Robert D. “Bobby” Ach will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bell officiating. Entombment will be in Earlham Memorial Mausoleum with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
