Vernon "Bud" Ervine was born on June 22, 1917 in Nicholas County, Kentucky to Alexander A "Alec" Ervine and Minnie Hopkins Ervine. At the age of 22 yrs., he married Avylin Dean Moore on April 8 1939 in Fayette County, Indiana.
He was survived by his wife Avylin "Dean" Ervine and his children, Unita Faye Menefee of Clarkstown; Buddy Ervine(Hila) of McKee, Kentucky; Linda Ervine of Rushville; Danny Ervine of Connersville; Jerry Ervine of Connersville; Kendall "Punky" Ervine; Aletia Sweet (Bill); Donnie Ervine, all of Rushville and several Grandchildren.
