Margaret Ann (Good) Aberer, age 74, of Louisburg, Kansas, died December 26, 2012, at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born October 13, 1938, in Miami County, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Frieda (Wilke) Good. She was united in marriage for 47 years to [name removed] on June 12, 1965, in Mission, Kansas.
After raising their daughter in Overland Park, Kansas, Margaret and Tom returned to the Louisburg, Kansas area to live on the farm on which Margaret was raised. Margaret cherished life on the farm, reconnecting with childhood friends, doing chores with Tom, and gardening. She belonged to numerous social groups in the Louisburg area, including the Late Bloomers Garden Club, the Book Club, and her exercise groups. She was an active member of the Miami Presbyterian Church, and participated in service organizations in the community. She loved spending time with her grandsons, cheering them on at their various sporting events. Margaret enjoyed working at Menorah Medical Center as a surgical nurse for over 30 years, retiring in 2008 but remaining in contact with her many nursing friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Good and John Good.
