Freeport – Frank M. Fox, 73, 1205 La Cresta drive, a retired Stephenson County farmer, died Friday in Deaconness Hospital. Mr. Fox was born in Freeport, son of George and Melissa Fox. He married Bertha Daniels April 20, 1911, in Freeport. He farmed in Florence Townshhip until 1944 when he retired and moved to Freeport.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Glen [Betty] Eichmeier, Freeport,; a son, Nelson D., of Mount Carroll; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Archie Solt and Mrs. Ed Witte, both of Pearl City.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Walker Mortuary. The Rev. George Busekros, pastor of Bethany United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call in the mortuary after 3 p.m. Saturday.
