Jessie died at the Trull Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was 83 and her address was 179 Hill St.

Jessie was born and raised in Biddeford. She attended local schools and graduated from Biddeford High School. Jessie worked as a bookkeeper and managerial secretary for Cental Maine Power Co. for many years.

Jessie was a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church, a past matron of Adah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Thursday Club.

Jessie never married. Her obituary lists the following survivors: two brothers, Richard C. Anderson of Biddeford and Frank Anderson of Goose Rocks Beach and Florida; and a sister, Elizabeth Anderson of Biddeford.

A funeral mass was said at Christ Episcopal Church, Crescent Street. Burial was in Woodlawn Cememtery.
