Branham Services Scheduled Monday at Local Church
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at East Main Church of Christ for Mrs. Rachel E. Branham, 85, who died early this morning in the local hospital.
A.H. Reeve will officiate with Rev. Dan Rainbolt assisting. Burial will be in Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Mackey Funeral Home. Mrs. Branham was born Oct. 21, 1874 in Texas and moved to Center, I.T. in 1880. She was a resident of Seminole County for many years before moving to Holenville 14 years ago. She was the widow of the late R. Branham of Seminole County.
Survivors are 3 daughters, Mrs. Frances Reifle of Holdenville, Mrs. Carl Johnson, Oklahoma City and Mrs. W. H. Junk, Sacramento, Ca. One brother, A. J. Marshall, Modesto, Ca. one sister, Mrs. Lucy Gaines of Sasakwa, 5 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Bearers will be Ed Moore, Claude Couch, Claude McDonald, Lee Weathered, Bill Foster and Earl Jackson. Honorary bearers will be Andy Berry, Turner Hopkins, Harold Scott, Floyd Dean and J.D. Yater.
