Eva Virginia Covert is the daughter of James Covert and Mary E. Covert (nee Corkill). In the 1900 census, the family were in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.

She married Jesse Alcorn, son of James Willard Alcorn and Rebecca J. Guffy. Jesse was born July 3, 1896, Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. A record of his death has never been found.

Eva's cause of death was from lobar pneumonia. She was survived by her husband and five children. One son James was born about 1920 and died about 1922.

The lady in the office said Eva and Cora were the same person. but there was no marker for her ...
