SEBASTIAN, FL - Mr. Thomas C. "Tom" Adkins, 76, died May 17, 2010 in Sebastian, FL
He was born in Columbus, OH and moved to Brevard County and then after his retirement lived in Vero Beach for 13 years.
He attended Ohio State University. He earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Brevard Community College, Melbourne, FL.
He was employed with the Brevard County Sheriff's office as a Deputy Sheriff until his retirement from the department in 1994.
He served in the US Marine Corps.
Survivors include his son, Scott Adkins of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Jenni Adkins of Tampa, FL; sisters, Lou Shirleyof Tarpon Springs, FL and Sue Rhea of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Joshua and Danielle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Tori and his sister, Jane Williams.

Military Honors were conducted by the Sebastian Area Veterans' Honor Guard. Brevard County Special Operations Unit for the Brevard County Sheriff's Office was present. ____________________________________________
