Dolores Lynn “Doe” (Cearing) Cowden, 62, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at her residence in Franklin, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 1, 1950, in North Judson. She was the daughter of Paul and Ella (Maciejack) Cearing.

She is survived by her father, Paul Cearing of Franklin; two children, Melissa Dawson and Michael Cowden, both of Franklin; and three grandchildren, Mckenzie Hatchett, Maleah Cowden and Elijah Dawson, all of Franklin.

She was preceded in passing by her mother, Ella Cearing; and a sister, Gloria Kirby.

“Doe” was a 1968 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

She was employed by Urology of Indiana in Franklin in the front office for several years.

“Doe” enjoyed gardening in her yard. She most enjoyed going to garage sales and finding a good bargain. She was blessed with the talent to redesign whatever she brought home.

A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
