"OBITUARIES. John S. Addicott.

Services will take place Monday for John Sidney Addicott, 90, of the Masonic Home and Hospital, Wallingford, formerly of Fairfield, and a former member of the Fairfield Republican Town committee, who died Friday in the Masonic home.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the home, and burial will be in East Hartford cemetery [Hillside Cemetery].

Born in Birmingham, England, Mr. Addicott had lived in Fairfield from 1916 to 1939. He was formerly superintendent of the Sunday school at Trinity church, Southport, and was a member of the improved Order of Red Men, Fairfield, and the Masonic lodge in East Hartford.

Survivors are a son, John Sperry Addicott of Fairfield, a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Clarke of South Windsor; four granchildren, and five great-grandchildren." END
