She was born February 26, 1903,a daughter of John Streible and Nancy Catherine (Snyder) Streible.
Mrs. Benham was preceded in death by her husband, James Z. Benham and one daughter, Miss Betty Jean Benham.
She is survived by four sons, James L. Benham, Lawrence W. Benham, Luke Benham, all of Brandenburg, Kentucky, and George S. Benham of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of New Albany, Indiana, and Mrs. Ethel Long of Radcliff, Kentucky; five brothers, Gus Strieble, Phil Streible, Van Streible, all of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky, Roy Streible and Dick Streible both of Valley Station, Kentucky.12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from Bethel United Methodist Church with rev. Gary Hines officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery directed by Hager Funeral Home.
