On June 6, 1867 he was appointed U.S. Postmaster at Barclay, Bradford County. On the 1870 Census his occupation was an "Overseer Of Miners" in Barclay. I am sure he was doing both jobs.
On June 10, 1875 he had been appointed to be U.S. Postmaster of Bernice, Sullivan County and he held this job till his death in 1899.
On the 1880 Census his occupation was listed as "Rail Road Supt" (Superintendent).
Isaac was the Son of George and Mary Darent Blight.
He was Married to Matilda Harris on April 18, 1854 at the Penn Square Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Rev. E.P. Rogers.
And he was the Father of William Harris, Matilda P., Mary V. and Cornelia Blight.
