"Felipe Aguirre, 82, died Nov. 2, in Rollins-Brook Hospital.
He was born May 26, 1906, in Menard. He was a resident of Lampasas for the past five years and was a member of the Catholic church.
Rosary was recited Wednesday night in the Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Chapel and funeral mass was held Thursday morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Adam Martinez officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Aguirre is survived by one son, Carlos Aguirre of Lubbock; one daughter, Benita Maldonado; three brothers, Joaquin Aguirre of Levelland, Francisco Aguirre of Austin, Hilario Aguirre of Brownwood; six sisters, Juana Martinez of San Angelo, Consuela Aguirre of Eden, Juanita Munez of San Antonio, Lupe Correa of Alvin, Mich., Irene Resio of Eden; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild."
