Kay Francis Abel, 55, of American Fork, Utah passed away at home on October 28, 2003, after a valiant fight with heart problems.Born March 5, 1948 to Francis Ray and Thelma Leila Johnston Abel. He married Vickie Lynn Clements. They later divorced.On July 1, 1986, he married Sandra Kay Brown. Kay was an avid musician, played in the Argon's Band. He retired from NAPA Auto Parts. Kay loved his girls and his wife and his pets. He had many friends that he considered family.Survived by wife Sandra, children Kalynn (Troy) Watson, Randi (Vern) Peterson, Jackie Hatton. all of Lehi, special children, Christina and R.J., six grandchildren and sister, Gayle Smith, CA. Preceded in death by parents, stepson, Randy Mecham, a sister, Glenda and a brother Elton.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 11a.m. in Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork where family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment in American Fork Cemetery.
