The daughter of Walter and Carrie Johnson. She was reared and attended school in Early County, Georgia. Zular accepted Christ in her life at and early age and joined St. Maryland Baptist Church in Early County. In 1931 she met and married the late Homer Adams. To this union three children were born, two girls and one boy. she moved to Miami, Florida in 1950 and was employed as a domestic worker until her health failed. After moving to Miami, she united with First Baptist Church of Opa Loca in 1950 under the leadership of the late Rev. Macon. In 1958 she moved to Liberty City and united with Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. C.H. Smith and continued to serve under the leadership of Rev. Douglas Cook. She had been confined in a Foster Home since 1967. She leaves to cherish her memories; one son, Walter Adams of of Orlando, FL; two daughters, Carolyn Wright of Chicago, Ill and Dorothy Robinson of Miami, FL; one step-daughter, Lula Smith of Miami, FL; two sisters, Eula Bass of Utica, New Jersey and Pinkie Williams of Newark, New Jersey; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grands,nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
