ABRAMS, Robert "Bob Stone", 85, of Manquin, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born in 1923 to Mordecai and Belva Blount Abrams, he was a lifelong resident of King William County. He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and a retired dairy farmer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline Broaddus Abrams and many friends who will greatly miss him and cherish his memory. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta, with Rev. Bill Duganne officiating. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 20538 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Va. 22514 or a charity of your choice.
