PORTSMOUTH --- Victor Alianello, 63, husband of Mrs. Lucy Bresicia Alianello of 303 Nelson St., died Tuesday at 3:35 a.m. in a Portsmouth hospital. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired Naval Shipyard machinist.

He was was member of the fourth-degree Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Victor Alianello, Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence J. Balsamo, Mrs. Robert P. Wilson and Mrs. Robert J. Strothers of Portsmouth; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Buffore of Clifton, N.J.; Mrs. Grace Purrisi of Passaic, N.J., and Mrs. Angelina Nigro of Lowell, Mass.; a brother, Morris Alianello and 12 grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Brennan Funeral Home where Rosary services will be conducted tonight at 8 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church. Burial will be St. Paul's Cemetery.

Note: Victor was the son of Antonio and Vincenza (Cocola) Alianello.
