Theresa E. (Correia) Bennett, age 78, of Randolph, died suddenly Jan. 4. She was born, raised and educated in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. She had been a resident of Randolph for the past 42 years. Theresa was a certified nursing assistant at Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, retiring several years ago. She was active in the Amvets Ladies Auxillary Post 2001 in Avon. Beloved wife of Russell W. Bennett of Randolph, she was the mother of Paul Bennett and his wife Irene of West Bridgewater, Joanne Whynot-Butler and her husband William of Randolph, Robert Bennett of Randolph, Karen Bennett of East Bridgewater, Sheryl Hayes of Brockton and Michelle Ross and her husband Robert of Randolph; sister of Constance Correia of Brockton, John Correia of Easton, Virginia Silva of Brockton, Joseph Correia of Brockton and several late brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, Monday at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresas memory may be made to the National MS Society, Greater New England Chapter, P.O. Box 845945, Boston, MA 02284-5945
