Mrs. Sarah Adams. 3, died yesterday at her home at Acme. Funeral services are to be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Acme Baptist Church, The Rev. H. E. Crowder is to officiate and burial is to be in the Red Warrior Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter. Miss Opal Meadows; her father John Barnett. London, Ky, two sisters Mrs. Iva McClure, Acme; and Mrs. Mary Pruitt, Williamsburg, Ky; three brothers, James Barnett. Mauston: Nathaniel Barnett, Ashford, and Edward Barnett of Oklahoma.
Sarah was the daughter of John Barnett and Elizabeth Renfro. She married Rudolph "Rude" Adams on 8/24/1916 in Ramage, Boone County, West Virginia. They only had 1 child (Opal) before Rude was killed. Sarah never remarried and died from carcinoma of the stomach in Acme, West Virginia.
