James M. Amadeo
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for James M. Amadeo, 55, of 821 Third St., West Des Moines, who died of a heart ailment Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Amadeo was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and was owner of James Styles of Distinction. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dowling Club and Belizzi McRae American Legion.
Active in several boxing organizations, he was a member of the USA Amateur Boxing Federation's safety committee and was a boxing consultant.
Survivors include his wife; Cherie, three sons, Gerald and Jamie, both at home, and John of Des Moines; two daughters, Karen Amadeo and Michelle Salazar, both of Des Moines; three brothers, Sam of Campbell, Calif., and Don and Frank, both of Des Moines; a sister, Lucille Tucci of Des Moines, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m.today and a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home.

He married Joan Cherie Bailey Kluss in 1952.
