Charles "Chick" Ernest Achilles, Sr. of Deptford, NJ passed away on May 28, 2014 at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth. Dear father of Linda Conway(Lawrence), Charles Achilles, Jr.(Catherine), and Howard Achilles(Lisa). Dear brother of Mildred Schisller and of the late Fred Achilles. Proud grandfather of the late Elizabeth Castner, Lawrence Conway IV, Sharon Skirkie, Stephanie Achilles, Charles Achilles III, and Thomas Achilles
Mr. Achilles spent most of his life in Deptford and a few years in the Villas.
He was a member of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church of Blackwood; a Life Member of Union Fire Co. of Deptford, and a former employee of Brodkin Corner Hardware in Williamstown, NJ.
Viewing will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, 10:30 a. m. - 12:00 p. m. at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. Interment will be private.
