CLIFFORD DANFORD BLEDSOE, 77, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 28, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will be at a later date. He was born August 19, 1933, in Milton, a son of the late Ezra A. and Ruth Payton Bledsoe. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Cleo Bledsoe. He was retired from the wheel and axle department of ACF Industries. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Clifton Dewain and Connie Bledsoe of Culloden, W.Va.; brother Tuey and Betty Bledsoe of Milton; sisters Piney and Bryan "J.B." Venoy, Emma Sue and Carlton Shepherd, all of Milton, and Leoma and Bobby Venoy of Ona, W.Va.; grandsons Stacey and Brent Bledsoe; and a very special friend, Mary Adkins. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011, prior to the service at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.heckfuneralhome.com.
