Lewis Albert Adams, 87, of Collinsville, OK passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. He was born Febuary 11, 1923 in Tahlequah, OK to Walter M. Adams and the former Willie A. Gooch. He served his country during WWII in the Army. He married his school sweetheart, Zella Pershall on December 18, 1941. They were long time residents of Ponca City where they raised three daughters. They were also long time residents of Artesia, NM where they lived until 2003, at which time they moved to the Collinsville Area to be closer to family. He is survived by his three daughters; Lonnia Jorgenson of Central City, IA, Shirley Mashburn of Claremore, and Cathy Mullennax of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 Sister: Clovis Quijada of Hemet, CA and 1 brother: Carl Adams of Chase, KS. He is preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. April 2, 2010 at Calvary Community Church in Bowring, OK. Bill Long will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park in Ponca City.

Visitation will be Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home and Friday, 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Community Church. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
