Funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Loyal Evangelical and Reformed church for Dick Bollenbach, 64, who died early Wednesday morning at his farm home north of Loyal. Officating at the service will be Rev. Charles Burger of Kingfisher. Burial will be made in the Forest Home cemetery near Loyal. A veteran of World War I, Bollenbach was a member of the Kingfisher American Legion post and graveside rites will be conducted by that group. Bollenbach was born March 13, 1893 at Loyal and attended school in that community. After residing for a time in California, he returned to this county in 1923 living first on a farm two miles east of Kingfisher. Then in 1926, he moved to the farm near Loyal where he resided until his death. For a number of years Bollenbach operated a cafe in Loyal. Survivors include his wife Bess, whom he married at Los Angeles, Calif. in 1923; a brother, Claude of Muskegon, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. F. K (Mildred) Johnson of Oklahoma City; his step-mother, Mrs. Hattie Bollenbach of Los Angeles, Calif; and other relatives. Preceding him in death in 1932 was a son, James.
