Helen Lou (PeCoy) Alexander of Catoosa, 73, entered eternal life Nov. 11, 2010 in Tulsa.
She was born May 10, 1937 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa to Burlyn and Evelyn (Bruntage) PeCoy.
Helen married Richard "Bub" Alexander August 11, 1958 in Ft. Dodge and together they created a wonderful family.
A retired machinist at Frank W. Murphy Safety Switches, she enjoyed watching TV and playing Mahjong. A very fun lady, she allowed her grandchildren to dress her as up various characters, such as a Rapper or Pirate.
Helen graduated from high school at age 60!
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her infant sisters: Marlene and Margie Ann.
Helen is survived by her loving children: Lynn Moore and her husband Mike of Anaheim, CA, Rick Alexander and his wife Kim of Catoosa, Laura Alexander of Broken Arrow, Carlson Alexander and his wife Jayne of Chouteau; family dog Roxie; grandchildren: Aaron and Afton Alexander, both of Catoosa, Robin, Amber and Jason Thornton, all of California, Bridget Alexander of Chouteau, U.S. Navy Airman Richard Alexander and his wife Muriel of Oak Harbor, WA, D.J. Oxford of Tulsa, Daniel Bettge, and Fred Bettge and his fiancé Holly, all of Broken Arrow; great-grandchildren: J.R. Alexander of Chouteau and Edward Alexander of Oak Harbor; brothers: Burlyn PeCoy of Ft. Dodge and Gary PeCoy of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
