Was born August 29, 1975 to Robert E. and D. Loretta (Comanche) Buckner. He passed away in
Lawton, OK on July 31st at the age of 36.

He graduated from Apache High School. He married Shannon Lynn WhiteEagle on February 9, 2007 in Anadarko, OK. A member of the Fort Sill-Apache Tribe, he was actively involved with his tribe and served as the Higher Education Director and the housing chairman.

Steven was a sports fan, his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed watching his children play sports and being a part of their everyday lives. He coached for both softball and baseball summer leagues. He also liked to fish in his spare time, and enjoyed making people laugh when he could.

Pastor Wayne Townsend officiating. Burial will follow at the Ft. Sill Apache Cemetery on Ft. Sill.
