Prior to her retirement, Rita worked as a Librarian for Somerville High School. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas F. and Alice (Eagan) Adams, brothers, Edward T. Adams and Fr. Robert B. Adams and a sister-in-law, Belle Rita Adams.
