MICHAEL J. ADAMONIS, 62, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a self employed painter for many years and a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. Surviving are his sons, Andrew (Erika) Adamonis of New Haven and William Adamonis of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Emily, Alaina, Cassia, and Bentley; sisters, Mary Lou (Jack) Robinson of Fort Wayne, Marjorie (Aurthur J.) Barile of Huntertown, Kathy Jo Adamonis of Fort Wayne, and Marlene Kay Anderson of Columbia City; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend and dog, Rome. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. and Kathryn M. Adamonis; and brothers, John J. Adamonis and Richard A. Adamonis. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 South Calhoun St., with calling one hour prior.
