DRIVEN BY EDGAR WILSON.
DRIVER UNAWARE OF FATALITY
little Girl Was Returning From School "With Brothers" Attempted to Catch Bide on Passing Motor Truck.
Dorothy I.-Angle, eight year old daughter of, Mr- and Mrs. Henry Angle residing one half mile southwest of Lewisburg, -was fatally injured yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock when, she was crushed beneath a heavy truck, driven by Edgar
Wilson, county employe. The accident occurred on the Bingaman-Gugle-road better known as the River road, 8 miles east of the, city. The driver of the truck was entirely unaware of the accident and the machine had passed completely over the child's body before it could be
brought to a, stop. The girl succumbed to her injuries.-while being rushed to her home.
The victim of the accident together with, her brothers,-Paul, Lowell and Wilbur, age 12 and 11 years respectively and Florence Radabaugh and Walter Radabauagh were on
their way home from school at the time of the accident. As the big truck lumbered along the highway the three Angle boys hopped aboard the vehicle, Dorothy Angle' together
with the Radabaugh children _ were running alongside the truck.It is said that Dorothy attempted to grab the dumping rod which runs the entire length of the truck. In attempting to do this, the child was thrown under the wheels of the truck.
Dies on Way Home.
The cries of, her frightened companions brought the attention of the driver and the machine was immediately stopped. The child was unnconscious and she' was immediately
placed aboard the truck which sped in tbe direction of the child's home.A party of tourists were met on the
way and the child was removed to this machine. -The little, girl, died just before the home had been reached. Dr. E. A. Graves of New Waverly was hurriedly summoned,but the child was beyond all medical aid.
The wheels of the machine terribly crushed the child's abdomen,while her left leg was also broken
just above, the Knee. - Coroner M. B Stewart was called and immediately viewed the remains.
Deceased is survived by her parents. four brothers,Henry Julian,Paul and "Wilbur; and two sisters, Alice and Betty.
The funeral will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bethel M. B. church. Interment will be made In the adjacent cemetery.
The coroner's Inquest of the case be held Friday morning at
9 o'clock, In the north court room
