AHERN, Madeline A. – In Crockett, Calif., Dec. 11, 1967. Madeline A. Ahern, wife of the late Francis J. Ahern, mother of James F. Ahern of Crockett, sister of Frank Velikonia, George Velikonia of Rodeo, Mrs. Mary Wittman of Crockett, Mrs. Angela Ahern of Rodeo, Mrs. Mrs. Eva Whitaker of Vallejo and miss Rose Velikonia of Crockett; a native of Crockett; aged 60 years.

Funeral services on Thursday, Dec 14, 1967, at 8:30 a.m. from the Hosselkus Valona Chapel, 2nd and Ceres St., Crockett, thence to St. Rose’s Catholic Church, where a Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul, at 9:00 a.m. Interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, San Pablo, Calif, Recitation of the Rosary 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Contributions preferred to St. Rose’s Church Building Fund.

Ahern – Velikonia
Wedding at St. Rose’s

At a nuptial mass at St. Rose’s Church in Crockett, Saturday, September 14, Miss Madeline Velikonia become the bride of Mr. Francis J. Ahern. The Rev. Father O’Brian officiated.

The bride wore a gown of white lace and small white hat with short veil. She carried a shower bouquet of gardenias, bouvardias and lilies of the valley.

Following the ceremony about fifty guests attended the reception at the hoe of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Velikonia of Crockett.

After Honeymooning in the South, they will make their home in Crockett.
