THE "OVERBIRDENED" STORK

It will be hard to convince people but our local coach got the "Bird" last week.

Coach Ames broke training Thursday night and early Friday morning by spending his sleepless hours pacing the corridors of the Puyallup General Hospital.

The stork who limped in on a wing and a prayer arrived about 1:10 Friday morning,
When coach peered into the stork's bundle he promptly fainted from shock, but was revived when someone suggested that now, in spite of the loss of letterman, he could bolster up his Buckley "eleven" in a few years from the home place.

But with all kidding aside, Good Luck to Mr. and Mrs. Ames and their two new additions to the family.

Twin to Jack Cyrus Ames
