FLORENCE " David Glenn Gardner, 52, of 4658 Four Seasons Road, Florence, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Gardner was born in Florence County, the son of Betty Reeves Gardner and the late William Gardner. He worked as a computer technician and an electrical engineer and was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Reeves Gardner of the home; a daughter, Christina Irene Gardner of Blacksburg, Va.; a sister, Bonnie (George) Wilkes of Lamar; four nieces, Amy, Carey, and Emily Andrews and Jessica Wilkes; a nephew, T.J. Wilkes; a great-niece, Amsley Rogers; a great-nephew, Zachary Andrews; two stepsons, Chris and Mike Mims.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Glenn Gardner, who died in 2003 and a nephew, Jamie Andrews, who died in 2000. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 555 E. Cheves St., Florence, SC 29506.
