Married Dory Duke Nov 24 1949∼Robert M. Bauler, 76, Laguna Hills, CA, formerly of Aurora, passed away March, 20, 2001 at Saddlebrook Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills, CA from heart disease.
Robert was born in Aurora, IL on September 19, 1924 the only son of the late Mathew C. and Marie (Speir) Bauler. He attended Holy Angels and East Aurora High School before serving in the Air Corps during World War II and upon returning home, attended and graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He moved to Los Angeles, CA where he worked for Bank of America. He met and married Dory P. (Duke) Bauler on November 24, 1949 with whom he shared 52 wonderful years and three sons. He was subsequently employed by Lyon Metal Products in Aurora for 15 years and Steelcase, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dory Bauler of Laguna Hills, Ca; three sons, Randy R. Bauler of Anaheim Hills, CA, Bradley C. Bauler of Boston, MA and Daniel S. Bauler of Fairfield, CA.
Funeral services were held at The Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA where he was interred March 26, 2001.
