Sgt. William Casey Brown, U.S.M.C.

Sgt. William Casey Brown, U.S.M.C., 34, of Southaven, Miss., died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Conway, Arkansas. Sgt. Brown was a U.S. Marine for 10 years and served his country in Korea, Okinawa, Israel and served two tours in Iraq where, during his second tour, he received a name for valor for his actions under fire. Sgt. Brown was also a member of the Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club, Chapter 57.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Bishop Brown of Southaven, Miss.; his parents, Bill and Leslie Brown of Como, Miss. and one sister, Shannon Scrimager of Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Sardis, Miss. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Union Church near Sardis, Miss. with Robert Hickey officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery.
