8th Texas Cavalry Regiment
Jack Adams was enlisted as a private by Captain Cook in Richmond, TX on May 14, 1862. His last official record lists him as present with the regiment in March 1864. He was severely wounded in the arm near Waynesboro, GA on December 4, 1864. He was paroled at Meridian, MS on May 12,1865.
