Joyce D. (Duggan) Baker, 78, of De Soto died Feb. 13, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Baker was a machine operator at Tension Envelope. Born Dec. 30, 1931, in Dubuque, Iwoa, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Letha (Lyons) Duggan.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan baker of De Soto; one son, Richard Nelson of De Soto; one daughter, Kathy Kemp of Pittsburg, Calif.; two brothers: Carl Duggan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Richard Duggan of Hanover, Ill.; one sister, Pat Winger of Dubuque, Iowa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were to be held Feb. 17 at Mahn De Soto Chapel, officated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial was in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Adopt-an-Angel. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
