Gerald Baker, 60, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2002. He was born Jan. 21, 1942 in McCurtain to Lushes and Flossie (Bryant) Baker. He served in the U.S. Army where he received the Vietnam Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Freda Baker, Reba Autry and Odie Stotts; and two brothers, M.L. (Bill) Baker and Troy Baker.

Survivors include four brothers, Donald Ray and Bobbie Baker of Arkoma, William James and Willena Baker of Tulsa, Jimmie Dale and Bertha Baker of Fort Smith and Ronnie Joe and Margie Baker of Nowata; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Baker of Wister and Johnnie Baker of Greenwood; 16 nieces and 12 nephews; and a host of cousins.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, April 23 at Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, April 24 at the Milton Cemetery with the Rev. James Myers officiating. Burial will follow under direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau
