Trinidad ""Triny"" R. Valencia, 89, of Blanco, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012, in Farmington. Triny was born October 25, 1922, in Turley, to Jose Estevan Archuleta and Rosa Archuleta.
She Attended Blanco Elementary School and Triny graduated from Aztec high school.
She married Remigio Bernabe Valencia in November of 1946. They made their home in Blanco. Triny was a homemaker all her life.
Her joys in life was quilt making, feeding people, with the best food ever. Triny was equally at home in the kitchen and her vegetable gardens and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Triny was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben and five brothers.
She is survived by her children, Mary Grace (Harold) Mascarenas and Lonnie (Pam) Valencia; her sister, Edivjien Lobato, of Salt Lake City, Utah; her brother, Reginio (Rosa) Archuleta; four grandchildren, Bethany (Rob) Campbell, Jesse (Denise) Mascarenas, Aaron (Tammy) Mascarenas and Bryan (Natalie) Mascarenas; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Triny was loved very, very much and will be dearly missed.
Viewing will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, and the rosary will follow, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, in Blanco.
A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, off U.S. Hwy. 64 in Blanco.
Burial will be at Blanco Cemetery.
A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
